Ahoy there.....
So...have u ever wondered why we have an itch?well as far as medical researches go, no scientists have actually found the proper reason to why we have an itch....its kinda a wonder why we do u know that's why I'm publishing this post...i have done lots of thinking over this imponderable and I've came up with 3 seemingly logical reasons....
1)itch indicates irritation-the easiest way for mother nature to alert us that something is irritating us and to get rid of the irritant....ironic...
2)itch could be caused by body hair- simple....body hair itching our skin....
3) Get rid of dead cells-this could be the most logical scientific explanation...our body sheds dead cells every 5 minutes...this is normal because every now and then cells should be replaced to maintain optimum homeostasis(that's regulation) therefore dead cells are shed off the body as dirt(that's why our body gets sticky and we need a bath)..now dead cells are excotic food for parasites and vermins such as louse and mites..just like we all love pizza..(right??)..when these bad boys start feasting, they end up feasting on live cells too thats when we get redness on our skin without scratching the redness is caused by inflammation(part of our body's weapons againts the enemy)..we get an itch to firstly get rid of the tiny patch of dead cells(dirt) before these buggers have dinner on our skin...secondly we get an itch to engage inflammation and protect the body against these vermins in case we forget to throw their meal away before their dinnertime...itching could be our body's defense against eczema....
So, the next time you get an itch, relax....its time to take a bath....if you are not lazy that is..hahahahaha....
(p/s: this has nothing to do with the 7 year itch...)

- 2005..The year I lost everything I ever had...as I try to stand up again I realized that there are more hypocrites in this world than supporters.. But I'm sure thankful for those who are with me today. I'm born on 13th june 1989, male(yup..male...got it?! 100% male!) and I've seen and experienced things far beyond possible. I'm a biomedical student at Unisel and currently a Training Medical Laboratory Scientist at Gribbles Pathology Seremban Like to think critically and assume that nothing is impossible..listening to my mp3s(Emo,screamo,punk,metal,goth),playing online and lan games..jamming.. and hanging out with my besties..I'm an Emo Of Course...I like the way I am... Got a big time ego problem but I can mellow down.. Always emotional.. takes serious matters seriously.. trying to have fun... Revengeful against a disease.. Maybe I would disappear once my job is done...thats all..enjoy reading my blog... c ya...(^-,^)
